Our Beginning
Our introduction to the breed was through a wonderful rescue Springer, and our subsequent search for a new family pet led us to Dodger. Our beloved companion seemed perfect until he was diagnosed with epilepsy around age two. The following years were a heartbreaking cycle of specialist visits, a rigorous medication schedule, and the constant fear of seizures. Despite our immense emotional and financial investment, we lost our battle to control his condition and made the devastating decision to end his suffering at only six years old. The breeder's complete refusal to acknowledge our calls or his genetic health issues left us heartbroken and furious, but also determined to ensure no other family would have to endure the same pain.
